1、 Wallpaper or wallpaper usage
After determining the color and variety of wallpaper or wallpaper, the amount of materials used can be reasonably calculated based on the size of the living room. Considering the possible losses during construction, we can buy about 10% more than the actual usage. There are two methods for calculating wallpaper or wallpaper. One is rough calculation, which multiplies the area of the room by 2.5 to obtain the amount of materials used for wall pasting; Another method is field measurement, which is more accurate. First, understand the width of the wallpaper or wallpaper you want, and measure the circumference of the room walls (excluding doors, windows, etc.) based on this width. If there are several wallpapers or wallpaper widths in the circumference, you need to stick a few pieces. Then measure the length of the wallpaper or wallpaper (in meters). Finally, use this method to measure the length of materials needed for walls under windows, irregular corners, etc., and add it to the calculated length to obtain the total length. 2、 Coating dosage
With the improvement of housing conditions, many families have applied another layer of colored paint to the white powder walls. Before painting, it is important to estimate the required amount of paint. Otherwise, too much will result in waste, and too little will be insufficient. Additionally, adding water-soluble materials will make it difficult to achieve consistent colors. Here is a simple calculation method: divide the room area by 4, multiply the height of the white wall to be painted by 10 and divide by 4. The sum of the two results is the kilogram of paint required. For example, if a room has an area of 20 square meters and a wall height of 1.6 meters (excluding a 1.2-meter wall skirt), then 20 ÷ 4+16 ÷ 4=9, which means that 9 kilograms of paint can be used to paint the wall twice.
3、 Quantity of floor tiles used
If the size of the floor tiles is 30.5 cm x 0.5 cm, that is, about 12 floor tiles are needed for every 1 square meter of floor, multiplied by the square of the room to obtain the number of tiles used. Due to the frequent use of trimmed floor tiles for splicing at the edges of the floor, it is best to first draw a sketch based on the size of the room floor. While selecting the pattern, determine how many dark and light floor tiles to use, and accurately calculate how many non block floor tiles to use. There are many types of adhesives used for laying floor tiles, and currently the common ones on the market are 401 adhesive and 4116 adhesive. Generally, 1 kilogram can stick 4-6 square meters of floor tiles. If too much is used, the glue can easily squeeze out of the gaps of the floor tiles and contaminate the ground, making it difficult to clean; If too little glue is used, the tiles will peel off after drying.
